PITTSBURGH — A man is suing property owner Wesley H. Bain, alleging that the defendant's plan to log his property will harm the environment.

James Bradley Larocca filed a complaint on Dec. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Bain, alleging that the water quality of Latta Run Stream in Mount Pleasant could be harmed as a result of logging.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that removing trees near the stream and driving equipment through it will cause environmental damage, and he seeks a permanent injunction barring the defendant from carrying out the proposed logging, plus any further relief this court grants.

The plaintiff is representing himself.
