PITTSBURGH — Pennsylvania business are suing another Pennsylvania operation, Ellwood Crankshaft and Machine Company, alleging breach of contract.

Mascaro Holdings Inc. and Mascaro Services Inc., trading as Mascaro Construction Company, L.P., filed a complaint on Nov. 1 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay the remaining balance to the plaintiff based on their agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that the Mascaro operations suffered monetary damages. The plaintiffs hold Ellwood Crankshaft and Machine Company responsible because the defendants allegedly made changes to orders that caused additional costs and failed to pay the plaintiff for those additional costs.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant for compensatory damages in an amount that exceeds $35,000 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Michael D. Klein and Ross A. Giorgianni of Blumling & Gusky, LLP in Pittsburgh.
