Royal Sumatra Holding Co. alleged to owe $72,000 to Pittsburgh company

PITTSBURGH – A Pittsburgh corporation alleges a Uniontown company has not paid it per the terms of a contract.

Climatech Inc. filed a complaint on Nov. 1 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Royal Sumatra Holding Co. LLC citing the Contractor and Subcontractor Payment Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Climatech Inc. was contracted by the defendant for a preventative maintenance contract for a HVAC system in 2007. The plaintiff alleges it has not been paid since November 2015. The plaintiff holds Royal Sumatra Holding Co. LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly breached their contractual agreement with the plaintiff by failing to pay it based on the agreed terms.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $72,000 plus court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Ronald B. Roteman and Jaclyn E. Faulds of Stonecipher Law Firm in Pittsburgh.
