Law money 01

PHILADELPHIA — A former employee is suing Castor Materials Inc., owner William J. Hagstotz III, and managers William J. Hagstotz IV and Melissa Hagstotz, alleging violation of wage law.

Barbara Rambo filed a complaint on Dec. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they failed to fairly compensate the plaintiff for her work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid overtime. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff an overtime premium for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation, payment for all benefits, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Ari R. Karpf of Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C. in Bensalem.
