HARRISBURG — An Illinois company is suing James Sechrist, a Milford resident, citing alleged defamation.
Competitive Range Solutions LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Sechrist, alleging that the defendant made defamatory statements against the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Competitive Range Solutions LLC suffered damages to it reputation. The plaintiff holds Sechrist responsible because the defendant allegedly made defamatory statements regarding the the plaintiff's designation as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, punitive damages, interest, court cost and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by James J. Scanlon of Ridley, Chuff, Kosierowski & Scanlon, P.C. in Milford.
