Consumer claims Maspeth Federal Savings and Loan Association provided inaccurate information on credit report

PHILADELPHIA – A New York man alleges he has been damaged by inaccurate information on his credit report.

Matthew Zarabi filed a complaint on Dec. 26, 2017, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Trans Union LLC and Maspeth Federal Savings and Loan Association citing the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Maspeth Federal Savings and Loan Association has been inaccurately furnishing credit data on his credit report and this information has been published by Trans Union. He alleges he disputed the accuracy of the information multiple times.

The plaintiff holds Trans Union LLC and Maspeth Federal Savings and Loan Association responsible because the defendants allegedly willfully and negligently failed to delete the inaccurate information from the plaintiff's file.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, order the defendants to immediately and permanently delete all of the inaccurate information relating to the plaintiff, court costs and any further relief the court grants.
