PHILADELPHIA – A Pittsburgh man alleges he has been injured by inaccurate information on his credit report.

Christopher A. Eisengart filed a complaint on Jan. 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Trans Union LLC, Equifax Information Services LLC, Experian Information Solutions Inc., American Express, et al. alleging violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that American Express has been inaccurately providing information that has been published by Trans Union and Experian regarding an account that doesn't belong to him. He also alleges other accounts with other financial institutions are also being reported that also do not belong to him. He alleges he has disputed the information with the defendant credit unions.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because he alleges he has suffered damages and financial harm because of the inaccuracies.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages, order the defendant to immediately and permanently delete all inaccurate information, and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Brent F. Vullings of Vullings Law Group LLC in Collegeville.
