MBR Construction Services Inc. alleged to have failed to pay contributions to funds

READING – A Blandon company is alleged to have failed to pay contributions as outlined in a collective bargaining agreement.

Ryan Helms and Barry Spayd, as trustee of the IBEW Local No. 743 Health and Welfare fund; et al. filed a complaint on Feb. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against MBR Construction Services Inc. alleging violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that the defendant has failed to pay timely amounts to the plaintiff funds per the terms of their collective bargaining agreement. They allege contributions are delinquent for December 2017.

The plaintiffs seek contributions due to the plaintiff plus any additional contributions, liquidated damages, interest, court costs filing fees in the amount of $400, services fee in the amount of $137.50, and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Charles W. Johnston in Camp Hill.
