Dodge Charger has transmission issues, Pittsburgh consumer claims

PITTSBURGH – A Pittsburgh consumer alleges a Dodge vehicle she purchased has issues with the transmission.

Danielle Marmarosa filed a complaint on Feb. 1 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against FCA US LLC alleging violation of the Pennsylvania Automotive Lemon Law, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act and the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she purchased a 2016 Dodge Charger on in September 2016 that had transmission defects. She alleges the defendant was unable to repair the issues despite a number of attempts.

The plaintiff holds FCA US LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to repair the defects to conform the vehicle to its warranties.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $35,000 plus all collateral changes, court cost and treble damages. She is represented by Timothy J. Abeel Jr. of Timothy J. Abeel & Associates PC in Glen Mills.
