PITTSBURGH – A South Park couple alleges an auto care shop has not honored warranties included in the services they purchased.

Thomas P. O'Toole and Rebecca J. O'Toole filed a complaint on March 2 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Bridgestone Retail Operation LLC, doing business as Firestone Complete Auto Care, alleging breach of contract and fraud.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in May 2017, they purchased tires and brake services from the defendant that included warranties.

The plaintiffs hold Bridgestone Retail Operation LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly sold services to the plaintiffs with no intentions of ever honoring the warranties.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $35,000 plus interest, punitive damages and court costs. They are representing themselves.
