PITTSBURGH — An individual is suing Navient Solutions LLC and Does 1-10 for allegedly violating telephone harassment statutes.
Scott Driscoll filed a complaint on March 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendants made several unwanted calls to him using an automatic dialer.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he received several unwanted calls on his cellular telephone in October 2016. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly using an automated telephone dialing system to call his cellular telephone.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks statutory damages of $500, treble damages and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Jody B. Burton of Lemberg Law LLC in Wilton, Conn.
