PITTSBURGH — An individual is suing General Motors LLC for alleged breach of warranty.
Edgar Blunt filed a complaint on March 20 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, alleging that the defendant sold him a defective vehicle and allegedly failed to repair it.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he purchased a 2015 Buick Lacrosse in March 2015 that allegedly had several defects, and the warranty allegedly failed to cover any repairs or replacement parts. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to repair the defects found in his vehicle despite allegedly having many opportunities to do so.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages that exceed $35,000. He also is seeking an order for the defendant to accept the return of his vehicle and refund him the purchase price with any incidental and consequential damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Rachel Cichowic of Lemon Law Group Partners PLC in Pittsburgh.
