Sap America Inc. and Aetna Life Insurance Company allegedly failed to provide disability benefits

PHILADELPHIA — An individual is suing Sap America Inc. and Aetna Life Insurance Company for alleged breach of contract.

Carlton Langley filed a complaint on March 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendants denied his claim for insurance benefits.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he became entitled to disability benefits and was initially approved to receive said benefits until they allegedly were terminated. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly denying his claim for long-term disability benefits despite allegedly being eligible to receive them.

The plaintiff seeks the payment of short-term disability benefits, long-term disability benefits, reinstatement, court costs, interest and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Marc H. Snyder and Kellyanne P. Inverso of Rosen, Moss, Snyder & Bleefeld LLP in Jenkintown, Pa.
