PITTSBURGH — An individual is suing McLaren Automotive Inc. for alleged breach of warranty, design defect, negligence and product liability.

Justin Daniel Jaworski filed a complaint on April 3 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, alleging that the defendant failed to properly manufacture its vehicle before delivering it to him.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he purchased a new vehicle in 2016 that allegedly had several defects, including paint peelings on the brake calipers, that were never addressed. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to repair the vehicle even though it allegedly was still under warranty.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the arbitration limits of the this court, all collateral charges, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Robert A. Rapkin of Kimmel & Silverman P.C. in Ambler, Pa.
