Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority accused of negligence

PITTSBURGH — A company is suing the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority for alleged negligence.

Spring Garden Storage LLC filed a complaint on April 4 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, alleging that the defendant failed to remedy the water leakage on its property, which allegedly resulted in water damage.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that its property sustained water damage in 2017 due to a leak. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to properly repair the leak. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $35,000 plus court costs and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Joshua A. Lyons of Maurice A. Nernberg & Associates in Pittsburgh.
