PHILADELPHIA — A company is suing Talking Rain Beverage Company Inc., claiming that it was falsely accused of trademark infringement.
New Slice Ventures LLC filed a complaint on April 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant claims that it had infringed upon its trademark.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it was damaged due to being accused of infringing upon the defendant's trademark. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly claiming that it had infringed upon the "SLICE" trademark even though the defendant allegedly surrendered it to the public domain.
The plaintiff seeks to declare that it has not infringed upon any of the defendant's trademarks and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph C. Gioconda of the Gioconda Law Group PLLC in Philadelphia.
