Oasis Energy accused of placing telemarketing calls without consent

PITTSBURGH — An individual has filed a class action lawsuit against Oasis Power LLC d/b/a Oasis Energy for allegedly violating telephone harassment statutes.

Stewart Abramson filed a complaint on April 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he received telemarketing calls on his cellular telephone that allegedly were placed by the defendant. As a result, the plaintiff claims that he has suffered damages. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly placing automated telemarketing calls to his cellular telephone without consent.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an order certifying this case as a class action suit and appointing him and his counsels as class representative and class counsels respectively. Additionally, he is seeking any further necessary, just and proper relief. He is represented by Clayton S.
