Tim Trevose LLC allegedly fired employee for requesting accommodation for work-related injury

PHILADELPHIA — An individual is suing her former employer, Tim Trevose LLC d/b/a Radisson Hotel, for alleged discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination.

Tracy Moran filed a complaint on April 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant violated the Americans with Disabilities Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendants fired her because she requested accommodation after suffering a work-related injury. The plaintiff claims that she suffered financial damages, emotional distress and humiliation as a result of being fired. 

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly discriminating against her and firing her in retaliation for requesting accommodation due to the work-related injury that she allegedly suffered in early 2016.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks lost wages and bonuses of no less than $150,000, plus punitive and compensatory damages, costs, attorney's fees and any other relief that is just and equitable. She is represented by Michael Murphy of Murphy Law Group LLC in Philadelphia.
