Narragansett Bay Insurance Company accused of wrongfully denying coverage for water damages

PHILADELPHIA — A property owner is suing Narragansett Bay Insurance Company for allegedly breaching an insurance contract.

John Hollway filed a complaint on April 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant wrongfully denied him coverage.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that his property suffered significant water damage in the amount of approximately $42,188.69. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing or refusing to fully or timely investigate the damages.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks punitive damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorneys' fees, costs and any other just and proper relief. He is represented by Paul A. Zevnik and Harvey Bartle IV of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Philadelphia.
