Trans Union LLC, others allegedly included false information on credit report

PHILADELPHIA — An individual is suing Trans Union LLC, Experian Information Solutions Inc., Equifax Information Services LLC and several other entities for allegedly including false, misleading and/or incomplete information on his credit report.

John Shams filed a complaint on April 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendants violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendants included false information on his credit report. As a result, the plaintiff claims that he has suffered humiliation, embarrassment, emotional distress and harm to his reputation and credit score. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual, statutory and punitive damages; the costs of this action; attorney’s fees; and any other relief that is just and proper. He is represented by Gregory Gorski of Gorski Law PLLC in Philadelphia.
