PHILADELPHIA — A company is suing Downing Partners LLC for alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
MC2Exec Search Inc. filed a complaint on April 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the company failed to comply with its contractual obligations.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant hired it to help identify and recruit qualified candidates for high-level positions. To date, the defendant allegedly owes the plaintiff $172,500 for the successful placement of three job candidates. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to pay the amount it allegedly owes.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $172,500, plus all damages, attorneys’ fees and statutory relief available. The plaintiff is represented by Timothy M. Kolman and W. Charles Sipio of Kolman Ely PC in Penndel.
