John J. Hainkel Jr. Home and Rehabilitation Center allegedly failed to pay for housekeeping services

PHILADELPHIA — A company is suing the John J. Hainkel Jr. Home and Rehabilitation Center for alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

Healthcare Services Group Inc. filed a complaint on April 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant failed to comply with its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it provided all necessary personnel and supervision to perform housekeeping services at the defendant's facility in New Orleans for $34,650 per month. As of April 26, the defendant allegedly owes the plaintiff $114,791.75. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to pay what it allegedly owes.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $114,791.75, plus contractual interest, attorney's fees, costs and any other just and necessary relief. The plaintiff is represented by John C. Kilgannon of Stevens & Lee PC in Philadelphia.
