PHILADELPHIA — An individual is suing American Airlines Inc. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Regina Hollenbach filed a complaint on April 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant failed to maintain its airplane in reasonably safe conditions.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was evacuated due to fluid coming out of the airplane. She claims that she was injured while sliding down the emergency exit chute. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide her with an airworthy airplane and properly train its crew on how to hand emergency evacuations.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $425,000. She is represented by Dale G. Larrimore of Larrimore & Farnish LLP in Philadelphia.
