HARRISBURG — Pets Global Inc. is suing freight forwarders M2 Logistics Inc. and Habil Transportation LLC, citing alleged breach of contract.
Pets Global filed a complaint June 21 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
According to the complaint, on Dec. 20, 2017, the defendants' driver allegedly picked up $56,106.02 worth of pet food products at Pets Global's warehouse, but the cargo never reach its destination. Despite the non-delivery, the plaintiff said it paid $3,882 on Feb. 20.
Pets Global claims it incurred damages in the amount of $56,106.02, plus $3,882 in freight charges.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks a judgment in the amount of $59,988.02, pre-judgment interest and costs and additional relief as the court deems just.
