Live Nation sued after man allegedly falls outside the Tower Theater

MEDIA — A husband and wife are suing Live Nation and Upper Darby Township after the man allegedly tripped and fell on a curb outside the Tower Theater in Upper Darby.

Harry Morrison and Teresa Morrison filed a complaint on Aug. 13, in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas against Live Nation Worldwide, doing business as Tower Theater, Live Nation Mid-Atlantic Inc., and the township of Upper Darby, alleging that they negligently maintained and repaired the curb and sidewalk.

The plaintiffs allege that on Aug. 16, 2016, Harry Morrison was injured when he tripped and fell on the curb of the premises. He suffered severe and permanent injuries to his body and limbs, disability, loss of earnings, disfigurement and pain and suffering, according to the complaint. 

The plaintiffs holds Live Nation Worldwide inc. doing business as Tower Theater responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to correct the defective and dangerous condition and failed to give adequate warning of the existing danger.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants, jointly and severally, in an amount exceeding $50,000, plus costs. They are represented by Richard S. Stutman and Ricky L. Liss of Liss & Marion PC in Philadelphia.
