PHILADELPHIA — A former employee is suing FedEx Office & Print Services Inc., citing alleged discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination.

Majed Subh filed a complaint on Sept. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against FedEx Office & Print Services Inc. alleging the employer violated the Civil Rights Act and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 29, 2016, he was terminated from his employment. He has suffered and continues to suffer lost wages and employment benefits, severe emotional distress, humiliation, and cost and fees in bringing this action, the suit says.

The plaintiff holds FedEx Office & Print Services Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly subjected him to discrimination and harassment on the basis of his race, national origin and disability, and retaliated against him and terminated his employment for seeking accommodation.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, reinstatement or front pay, liquidated damages, attorneys’ fees, costs and such other just and proper relief. He is represented by James Bell IV and Christopher Macey Jr. of Bell & Bell LLP in Philadelphia.

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Case No. is 2:18-cv-04186-JHS.
