HARRISBURG — An estate executrix is suing The Monitowoc Co. Inc., and others, citing alleged negligence.
Tracy K. Robinson, as executrix of the estate of Christopher T. Robison, filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging they failed to provide a safe testing area for a crane.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 2, plaintiff's decedent Christopher T. Robison died from injuries he sustained when defendants' crane and/or boom failed and crashed onto him and other workers in Shady Grove.
The plaintiff holds The Monitowoc Co. Inc. and others responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to monitor and supervise the testing of the crane and failed to warn all persons in the vicinity of the crane's dangers of testing it in high winds.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants, jointly and severally in an amount of over $75,000, delay damages and costs. She is represented by Robert Mongeluzzi and David Kwass of Saltz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett & Bendesky PC in Philadelphia.
The U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania Case No. is 1:18-cv-01903-CCC.
