Pepper Hamilton was honored at the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) Pennsylvania 2018 Annual Meeting, which recognized the volunteers who have made a difference in the lives of refugees and immigrants, as well as successful immigrants and refugees.
Pepper attorneys Andrew R. Rogoff, Anthony Vale, Cassandre L. Juste and Michael S. DePrince attended the meeting on October 17, where they were recognized for the pro bono work that their team and the Pepper Center for Public Service have done to assist individuals applying for asylum in the United States.
HIAS Pennsylvania provides legal, resettlement, citizenship and supportive services to immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers from all backgrounds in order to ensure their fair treatment and full integration into American society. Through its legal service partnerships, HIAS Pennsylvania works with both the public-interest and private bar and engages in cross referrals to assist low-income immigrants.
