MEDIA — A patient is suing Crozer Chester Medical Center and other health care providers, citing alleged negligence.

Perry Carson filed a complaint on Oct. 18 in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas against the defendants alleging that they failed to keep plaintiff safe.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 14, 2016, he fell and sustained a left femur fracture while under the care of defendants. He allegedly sustained injuries that required an open reduction and internal fixation surgery to the left femur and has suffered pain and suffering, disability, loss of earnings and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Crozer Chester Medical Center, et al, responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to apply proper fall risk precautions, failed to properly train staff in monitoring fall risk patients, and failed to properly follow fall risk procedures.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000. He is represented by John Neumann Hickey of Media.
