PITTSBURGH — A business manager is suing Cambria Library Association, a former employer, citing alleged disability discrimination and wrongful termination.

Dora Wells filed a complaint on Oct. 26 in the Allegheny County Courts of Common Pleas against Cambria Library Association, alleging the former employer violated the Pennsylvania Human Rights Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 10, 2016, she was terminated from her employment. She says she has suffered financial losses and other damages. The plaintiff holds Cambria Library Association responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide reasonable accommodation and terminated her employment because of her disability.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory and punitive damages, interest costs and all other relief that is proper and just. She is represented by Prabhu Narahari of Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC in Pittsburgh.
