PITTSBURGH — A tenant is suing building owner Residential Reinvestment LP, which does business as Negley Neighbors, citing alleged negligence.

Kimberly L. Thrasher filed a complaint on Nov. 15 in the Court of Common Pleas Allegheny County alleging the building owner failed to exercise the proper degree of care for tenants.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges on Oct. 20, 2017, she slipped and fell on water that had been allowed to accumulate on the floor of her kitchen from the apartment above. The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to maintain the premises in a safe condition.

The plaintiff seeks an amount in excess of the applicable arbitration limits exclusive of interest and costs. She is represented by Wayne Chiurazzi of The Chiurazzi Law Group in Pittsburgh.
