MEDIA — A business invitee is suing McDonald's Corp. and Miracle Management Corp., restaurant operators, citing alleged negligence.

Denise Turner filed a complaint on Nov. 29 in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas against the defendants, alleging they failed to maintain the restaurant premises in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 2, 2017, she was a business invitee at defendants' McDonald's restaurant in Eddystone when she slipped on a wet substance on the floor and fell.

She sustained serious injuries and was caused to suffer concussions, headaches, neck pain and low back pain, the suit says. The plaintiff holds McDonald's Corp. and Miracle Management Corp. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to timely clean up the wet substance on the floor and failed to give adequate warning of the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000, with interest and costs. She is represented by Joseph Malley III of Malley Law in Media.
