MEDIA — A former employee is suing JetPay Corp. and Universal Business Payment Solutions Acquisition Corporation, joint employers, citing alleged failure to timely pay all wages and unjust enrichment.

Patricia DiSanto filed a complaint on Nov. 26 in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, alleging the joint employers violated the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 12, 2018, she was forced to resign her employment due to hostile treatment after not receiving her duly earned bonus for 2016 and 2017.

She has suffered and will continue to suffer damages for costs and expenses and loss of use and benefit of having in her possession the earned bonus income, she says. The plaintiff says the defendants unilaterally reduced her salary and failed to remit earned bonus payments.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount greater than $50,000, with punitive damages, interest, costs, attorney's fees and such other just and proper relief. She is represented by Anthony Pinnie of Media.
