PITTSBURGH — An office manager has filed a class action lawsuit against North American Dental Group and others seeking allegedly unpaid overtime pay.

Ashley McGowan filed a complaint individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated on Dec. 21 in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas against the defendants, alleging they violated the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between January and November 2017, she regularly worked between 50 to 55 hours per week without receiving any overtime pay for all hours worked over 40 per week.

The plaintiff says the defendants failed to pay overtime premium compensation for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid overtime wages, with interest, attorney's fees, costs and such other proper and just relief. She is represented by Peter Winebrake, R. Andrea Santillo and Mark Gottesfeld of Winebrake & Santillo LLC in Dresher.
