Sean P. Bradley, a minor, by and through his parent and natural guardian, Jessica Saleh, filed a complaint on Feb. 7 in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas against Borough of Ridley Park, alleging the local agency failed to maintain a traffic sign in a safe and proper condition.,
According to the complaint, on Feb. 8, 2017, a municipal traffic sign located at defendant's right of way at or near 9 E. Felton St. in Ridley Park fell and struck minor plaintiff on the head. He allegedly sustained a severe and permanent head injury and concussions, which caused him to suffer severe headache, pain, mental anguish and anxiety.
The plaintiff holds the Borough of Ridley Park responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently allowed the traffic sign to remain in a state of disrepair and failed to give adequate warning or notice of the dangerous condition of the traffic sign.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, attorney's fees, delay damages and costs of court. She is represented by Peter George Mylonas of Law Offices of Broomall.
