PHILADELPHIA — A man is seeking damages, claiming that he was scammed by a telemarketer.
Alexander Bratic filed a complaint on Feb. 27 in the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Tech Solutions Sync and Sambit Mivhi Raina.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place beginning in 2015 when the defendant began to deceive consumers to purchase technical support that was not as advertised. The suit states the plaintiff has paid several thousands of dollars in damages to the defendant.
The defendant is accused of fraud, violation of the TCPA, deceptive telemarketing and unfair acts.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Predrag Filipovic in Philadelphia.
The case has been assigned to Judge Juan Sanchez.
