MEDIA — A theater company claims a board member stepped down but failed to stop acting in the same role.
The Media Theatre for the Performing Arts filed a complaint on Feb. 28 in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas against Marie Dunphy.
According to the complaint, the defendant resigned from her position as board chair but continued to act as chair, even though she was no longer in the position.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract terms.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Eugene Bonner of Media.
