Lawsuit: Wife hit by knife strip at Container Store

PHILADELPHIA —A couple are suing The Container Store after the wife was allegedly injured at the property.

Gena Alulis and Paul Alulis filed a complaint on March 18 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against The Container Store Inc., and Interdesign Inc.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident which took place on July 5, 2017, when the plaintiff was a guest at the defendant's property in King of Prussia. The plaintiff was injured when she was struck on the foot by an InterDesign Inc., Bamboo magnetic knife strip that was dangerous and left in a dangerous position, the suit claims.

The defendant is accused of negligence, liability, breach of warranty,

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs and compensation in excess of $50,000. The plaintiff is represented by Brad S. Rush of Kovler & Rush P.C. in Philadelphia.
