Eckert Seamans is pleased to welcome Maya Cheriyan as an associate in the firm’s Pittsburgh office and Business Division. She focuses her practice on intellectual property matters, including preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications in the electrical and electromechanical arts.
Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Cheriyan was in-house counsel for a leading solar developer in Massachusetts. She earned her J.D. at Boston College Law School in 2012. She holds a B.S. in electrical engineering, cum laude, from University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University.
