Morgan Lewis issued the following announcement on June 21.
The practice was ranked in Band 1 on the national level and secured several state rankings in Chambers USA 2019. Fifteen lawyers throughout the country also earned individual rankings in the employee benefits and executive compensation practice categories.
With more than 75 dedicated professionals across the United States, Morgan Lewis’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation team advises clients on plan design, qualification, and documentation matters, fiduciary questions, plan investment issues, payroll tax, fringe benefits issues, executive compensation structure and design, and healthcare and other benefits. The team also assists multiemployer plans and their contributing employers, tax-exempt entities, and governmental employers with the unique benefits challenges they face. Related to corporate transactions, we work to ensure benefits and compensation matters are properly handled—from due diligence through postclosing integration—and to identify hidden benefits liabilities, such as multiemployer withdrawal liability.
