Mark T. Dabertin, special counsel in the Financial Services Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton, will be speaking at the Pennsylvania Bankers Association's Wealth Management and Trust Conference taking place from November 6–8, 2019 in Hershey, PA. This conference is a time to connect with fellow bankers, hear updates on trends and issues, network with trust professionals, learn from seasoned presenters and industry experts, and visit the exhibitor resources.
Mr. Dabertin will present "Managing to a Clear Bank Examination" with former OCC National Bank Examiner Tom Schlotterback on Friday, Novmeber 8 from 8:15–9:20 AM. This session will review the examination process from the request for information, identifying the relevant business processes and applicable subject matter experts, the kick-off and follow-up meetings with examiners, responding to matters requiring attention, and issue remediation. The panelists for this session, both of whom are former federal bank regulators, will explain why preparing for an examination is an ongoing process that never ends.
