Fox Rothschild LLP issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Matthew R. Kittay, Perla M. Kuhn and Jacqueline Motyl, who were honored with the Protector Pioneer Award from I Am Your Protector, a global nonprofit that aims to “bring individuals together across lines of perceived divide and conflict.”
The Fox team provided I Am Your Protector with pro bono legal advice that was “key to the growth and success of the organization,” including guidance on forming and structuring a corporate entity, managing a nonprofit and protecting their intellectual property rights.
“We are honored to have had the opportunity to work with this group of volunteers to build the legal foundation of their organization and support their ongoing mission to unite people in communities around the world,” said Kittay.
Kittay accepted the award on behalf of the team during the I Am Your Protector “Melting Hate” special event hosted by the United Nations on December 10.
A Fox partner and co-chair of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group, Kittay guides businesses, investors and entrepreneurs through the complexities of corporate financing and structuring. Kuhn, an intellectual property partner with more than 30 years of experience, provides clients with a practical approach to the protection and enforcement of their IP rights in both domestic and foreign markets. Motyl, an associate at the firm, advises nonprofits on a range of matters including formation of private foundations, public charities and other tax-exempt organizations.
