LANCASTER – A Lancaster man alleges Lowe's caused nearly $20,000 worth of damage to his entryway door and frame while delivering his new refrigerator.

George Lehman filed a complaint Dec. 18 in the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County against Lowe's Home Centers LLC alleging negligence.

Lehman alleges he purchased a refrigerator from Lowe's on Feb. 17, 2019. He alleges that when the refrigerator was delivered on Feb. 20, 2019, his entryway door and frame were damaged as the delivery workers attempted to bring the refrigerator in his house. Lehman claims the negligent and reckless delivery caused "significant damage" to the property that cost $19,991 to repair.

Lehman seeks $19,991 in monetary relief and all other just relief. He is represented by Nathan Carter in Lancaster.
