Company says Pittsburgh schools refuses to pay $448K settlement

State Court
Allegheny

PITTSBURGH -- A Pennsylvania company is suing the Public Schools District of Pittsburgh, alleging a breach of settlement for work done on school property.

Golon, Inc. filed a lawsuit on March 12 in Allegheny Common Pleas Court against the Public Schools District of Pittsburgh for allegedly disregarding a settlement agreement for the amount of $448,570.63.

Golon alleges that on Jan. 17, it accepted an offer of $448,570.63 to pay for various restoration works completed at the District’s Springhill School in 2019. After multiple deliberations and a signed settlement agreement, the School District claims it made a mistake and allegedly refused to pay $448,570.63.

Golon, Inc. is represented by Christopher Hasson, Esq., of Bridgeville.
