Reed Smith LLP issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.

Reed Smith has earned rankings in 33 practice areas by country, and 20 of its practitioners were recognized as Leading Lawyers in the 2021 global rankings published by the International Financial Law Review.

One practice was ranked for the first time, and two improved their rankings. United Kingdom Private equity is a new listing; and Kazakhstan Financial and corporate and United States Banking improved their places in the rankings.

Three lawyers across five practices were listed as Leading Lawyers for the first time with Reed Smith, and seven were ranked in several categories as Leading Lawyers.

Over the last couple of months, the IFLR released the following rankings separately: (1) banking and finance; (2) capital markets, investment funds and private equity firms; (3) restructuring and insolvency and project development; (4) financial and corporate and M&A; and (5) leading lawyers for all practice areas.

The final IFLR1000 30th edition rankings focus on the top financial and corporate and M&A firms and lawyers. Visit IFLR to see the Reed Smith main rankings page.
