POND LEHOCKY GIORDANO: Pond Lehocky Giordano teams up with the Anti-Defamation League for Human Rights Day

Pond Lehocky Giordano issued the following announcement on Dec. 10.

In honor of Human Rights Day, the Pond Lehocky Giordano will donate to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) as part of the 4th Annual 25 Days of Giving Campaign. This partnership was forged through the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee.  Once again, the firm be spreading holiday cheer over the next few weeks leading up to the new year by contributing to local and national charities selected by the firm’s clients, partners, attorneys and staff. This is one of many initiatives that the firm sponsors through its charitable arm, Pond Lehocky Community. 

This will be Pond Lehocky’s fourth straight year presenting 25 Days of Giving. Beginning December 1, the firm is holding gift drives and donate to charities across the country. Traditionally, the firm’s staff and attorneys have volunteered at local non-profits throughout the month, in addition to monetary donations, but has since transitioned to virtual events and donations, considering the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.  

Pond Lehocky is donating to the following organizations in over the next week of this year’s campaign:  

Day 10: ADL, a leading anti-hate organization dedicated to fighting anti-Semitism and bigotry, and securing justice and fair treatment for all.  

Day 11: Rock Ministries of Philadelphia, a boxing and mentorship program in Kensington, Philadelphia, serving over 5,000 kids through sports, arts, music, mentoring and Bible studies, and providing food to the needy in the community.  

Day 12: Families Forward Philadelphia, the city’s largest emergency shelter for families and travelers providing advice, guidance, protection, and shelter since 1915.   

Day 13: Lupus Foundation of America, the only national organization devoted to solving the mystery of lupus with a mission to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus.  

Day 14: Cards for Hospitalized Kids, a national organization that collects handmade cards from across the globe to distribute to hospitalized kids in need all year long, and Operation Gratitude, a national organization supporting U.S. Military and First Responder communities by sending care packages and letters to deployed soldiers and to their children at home.  

Day 15: Gibson Temple Baptist Church, a local religious organization with a long-standing presence for helping those in need through food and clothing drives.   

Day 16: Laurel House, a comprehensive agency dedicated to ending domestic violence and empowering those impacted through Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  

Day 17: Orthopedics at Nemours, one of the largest and most widely respected pediatric orthopedics practices in the United States which has been providing care for children and teens since 1940.
