Timothy Conboy for the plaintiff

PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Mirror and Glass faces civil charges in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas from a Pittsburgh man who wants medical restitution after he was injured by a broken window.

Plaintiff Kip Dorsch was working for the defendant on March 30, 2019, at the Advanced Auto Parts Store in Mount Pleasant. He was working with other Pittsburgh Mirror and Glass employees to remove and dispose of a broken window in Advanced's dumpster, says a February lawsuit.

One of the other employees allegedly struck the broke window with a metal object because it was too big to fit into the dumpster, and a glass shard flew towards the plaintiff and struck him in the right arm, causing an injury that required surgical operation.

Dorsch is seeking damages for Pittsburgh Mirror and Glass' alleged negligence in excess of the arbitrational limit set by the court. He is represented by Conboy Law LLW of Pittsburgh.
