Personal injury suit leveled against Dollar General after accident in Jeannette store

PITTSBURGH - Dollar General faces a personal injury complaint in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas after a woman allegedly tripped and fell at the Dollar General on Clay Ave. in Jeannette. 

According to the complaint filed April 16, plaintiff Valerie Mezeivtch was at the store on March 4, 2021, when she says she suddenly tripped and fell over a large metal pallet in the aisle, causing severe leg lacerations and bruising.

The plaintiff says she has had to seek medical attention for her injuries. 

Dollar General is accused of negligence through premises liability and the plaintiff requests at least $35,000 for damages.
