Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Rebecca J. Reist has joined the firm’s Labor and Employment group as an associate in the Philadelphia office.
Rebecca joins the firm from Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP. She concentrates her labor and employment practice on matters notably involving employment litigation, class and collective actions, restrictive covenants, and strategic counseling. Rebecca is also well versed in handling litigation matters for clients spanning a range of industries and sectors, including higher education, cybersecurity and data privacy, and energy.
Rebecca previously served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Joel H. Slomsky of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. While in law school, she was a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark A. Kearney of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and also served as a certified legal intern for the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee, and Emigrant Services.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Rebecca earned her J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Villanova University School of Law and her B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from Bryn Mawr College. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and American Bar Association.
