Julie Colton Appointed Co-chair of the Domestic Violence Taskforce of the AAML

Our Pittsburgh-based family partner Julie Colton was appointed co-chair of the Domestic Violence Taskforce of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). Julie co-chairs the committee along with Judge Andrea Lopes James from Texas.

The purpose of the Domestic Violence Taskforce is to develop resolutions to meaningfully involve the Academy in the National dialogue on this subject, including providing a common set of policies and procedures directed at providing a uniform, effective response.
